Appxiom KMP Skills Installation

Package details and releases are available on npm at @appxiom/kmp-skills.

The Appxiom KMP Skills package provides installable AI Agent Skills for integrating the Appxiom Kotlin Multiplatform SDK (tech.appxiom:appxiom-kmp-core, appxiom-kmp-compose, appxiom-kmp-ktor) into cross-platform Android and iOS projects. It includes an interactive CLI to install skills into whichever coding agent directory your project uses (Claude Code, Antigravity IDE, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, etc.).

Install via NPX​

Run the CLI using npx @appxiom/kmp-skills:

# Install ALL KMP skills into your project's coding agent directory
npx @appxiom/kmp-skills add all

2. Install Individual Skills​

# Install core KMP integration skill
npx @appxiom/kmp-skills add core

# Install Compose Multiplatform screen & element tracking skill
npx @appxiom/kmp-skills add compose

# Install Ktor Client network telemetry skill
npx @appxiom/kmp-skills add network

npx @appxiom/kmp-skills add goals

# Install activity trails & logging skill

# Install verification test-issue skill
npx @appxiom/kmp-skills add test-issue

# Install crash report symbolication & de-obfuscation skill
npx @appxiom/kmp-skills add symbolication

# Install memory leak detection skill
npx @appxiom/kmp-skills add leaks

Target Directory Detection​

By default, the CLI auto-detects which coding agent directory to install skills into based on directory markers in your project root:

  • .claude/ exists → installs to .claude/skills/<skill-name>/
  • .agents/ exists → installs to .agents/skills/<skill-name>/
  • .cursor/ exists → installs to .cursor/skills/<skill-name>/
  • Otherwise → installs to .agent/skills/<skill-name>/ (the default for GitHub Copilot and general coding agents)

Overriding Target Directory​

You can explicitly specify the agent or target directory using flags:

# Explicitly target Antigravity IDE skills directory
npx @appxiom/kmp-skills add all --agent antigravity

# Explicitly target Claude Code skills directory
npx @appxiom/kmp-skills add all --agent claude

# Explicitly target Cursor skills directory
npx @appxiom/kmp-skills add all --agent cursor

# Explicitly target GitHub Copilot skills directory
npx @appxiom/kmp-skills add all --agent copilot

# Explicitly target custom directory
npx @appxiom/kmp-skills add all --target ./custom/skills/dir
