How It Works

From Install to a Verified Integration

A skill is a plain SKILL.md file that your coding agent reads when the task matches. No plugin, no extra service.

01

Install

Run one npx command. The CLI looks for .claude, .agents or .cursor in your project and installs into that skills folder. Otherwise it uses .agent/skills. Pass --agent or --target to choose a folder yourself.

02

Ask

Describe the job in plain words, such as adding Appxiom to your app or tracking the checkout flow. Your agent loads the matching skill and follows Appxiom's own integration steps for your stack.

03

Verify

The test issue skill sends a temporary test call. You confirm it in your logs and the Appxiom dashboard, then the agent removes it before release.

Example Prompts

Ask in Plain Words

Once a skill is installed, your agent picks it up when your request matches. These prompts work as written.

uses the core skill

Add Appxiom to this app and initialize it at startup. Use the credentials from my project settings.

uses the network skill

Turn on Appxiom network monitoring for our API client and mask the Authorization header.

uses the goals skill

Find the main business flows in this app and propose Appxiom goals for them. Wait for my approval before changing code.

uses the test-issue skill

Send an Appxiom test issue so I can confirm the setup in the dashboard, then remove it.
